On March 24, 2024, the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (LDRRMO), Astorga Mountaineering and Ecological Conservation Club, Inc. (AMECC), and North Santa Cruz Emergency Rescue Team (NSERT) join forces to support the Encampment program for the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) and Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) at Almendras Elementary School. The program aims to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and resilience among students.

It's worth noting that this is the first time the organizations work together to establish obstacle courses, which enable the encampment to deliver its program successfully. By collaborating, organizations can foster camaraderie among members and provide essential services related to tactical techniques on obstacle courses, which is one of the primary services. Additionally, organizations will have access to a broad range of capabilities necessary to develop and achieve organizational vision.

The Almendras Elementary School (ALES) provides an opportunity for three organizations to collaborate and bring positive results to the students. Gratitude is due to Ms. Nympha Y. Galupo, the school's BSP Coordinator, and Michelle T. Laurente, the GSP Coordinator, who initiate to invite the three organizations through the school's Principal, Jean C. Camposo, to lead the encampment and help achieve the program's goal.

Moreover, the students are taught tactical skills to help them cope up crises that may derailed development as young people capable of building resilience both socially and culturally. This can be achieved through the implementation of an advocacy program that aims to bring about attitudinal and behavioural changes of students.
